Inventionland as “Logo of the Day” Makes Our Day!

Another aspect of our creative workspace has been recognized on an international level! This time, it wasn’t the facility, but the Inventionland logo (a collaboration between Mr. Davison and a Senior Graphic Designer) that was featured world-wide on Feather Merchant’s “Logo of the Day” web page. The site, whose purpose is to “showcase the world’s best logos,” featured the Inventionland logo on August 29, 2011.
Among the awesome company of several other big names like Gateway, the Arizona Diamondbacks and Ivanka Trump, Inventionland was featured shortly after CBS “The Early Show” aired an interactive Inventionland segment.
So, what did Feather Merchant have to say about the small visual representation of America’s Largest Invention Factory? Here’s their piece-by-piece breakdown:
“Combining a light bulb and gear wheel, the symbols of ideas and innovation, Inventionland’s logo clearly expresses its purpose as an ideas lab with a mark that, although fairly obvious in concept, is sharp in execution.”

Also in the post, viewers can link back to our creative wonderland’s home page, so they can truly see Inventionland in all of its wonder!
So, how do we feel about their interpretation of our logo? We think our Executive Director of Design summed it up best!
“Now, that is sweeeeeeeettttt…” the Executive Director said.
How sweet it is! View the entire post here!
In September, our creative workspace was featured again, this time by Steven Shoppman at Visual News! According to Shoppman, our “Wildest Office in the World” is “packed with talented designers and creatives!”

Shoppman went on to say Inventionland is “quite possibly the most eccentric office building in the world!” Read the entire post here!
